MAP Classifieds Terms of Use - Effective February 2011
All users who view or post on MAP Classifieds are bound by the appropriate clauses of these terms.
Legal & Liability:
All users are bound to all appropriate federal laws of Canada, provincial laws of Ontario, and any appropriate laws of your country/region. You also agree not to violate or attempt to subvert the Terms of Use for MAP Classifieds.
Sharing our Ads:
You agree not to post any of our ads on any other websites.
Privacy Policy:
Your privacy is very important to us. We agree not to release any of your personal information to any third party organizations without your expressed permission.
Content Ownership:
In order for us to post your ad, you must agree to grant us ownership of any ads you request us to publish. We reserve the right to remove any ads from our website without warning, for any reasons we deem necessary.
Fees and Costs:
We charge no fees for browsing MAP Classifieds, nor for requesting to post an ad. You must agree to the fee you will be charged by completing your ad request (by finding a buyer for your equipment, or finding the equipment you are looking for) before it can be posted. Once your ad is posted, you may submit a request in writing, or by email, to have your ad removed, until we have contacted you by email to alert you that we have completed your ad request. Once you have been informed that your request has been completed, if you no longer wish to complete your transaction, you will be required to pay the complete amount you have been quoted for. All fees and costs are quoted in Canadian dollars, unless specifically stated otherwise.
You are strickly forbidden from doing the following:
- Provide any false or misleading information when requesting an ad (We attempt to verify all information before posting);
- Use automated means (robots, spiders, scripts, etc.) to access our content;
- Use an exorbitant amount of website bandwidth or interfere with our operations;
- Fill out falsified ad requests, or repeatedly fill out the same request multiple times.
General:
These terms, and any other terms found on our website, constitute an agreement between MAP Canada Ltd. and you. These terms are applicable to and enforced non-exclusively by the laws of Ontario, Canada. If any terms of this agreement are stricken by a court of law, any unaffected terms will still be applicable.
Any amendments to our terms will be considered binding once approved by MAP Canada Ltd. and posted on MAP Classifieds, and will take effect when you next visit this site, or within 30 days, whichever is sooner. Any concerns or complaints about this agreement can be sent to us by email.
